Creating full-blown apps yourself with nothing but a laptop and a few hours of free time is a rush. But nothing compares to the infectious energy of building stuff alongside friends, colleagues, or like-minded fanatics. 

If you’re hosting a hackathon, demo day, workshop, webinar, or other event where you and a crew get together to create stuff with Bolt, we want to help make it bigger, better, and easier to do. 

Our Build with Bolt Events Program fuels everything from internal company hackathons to grassroots community gatherings with free Bolt pro access, promotion, and more. 

Applying is simple. Here’s everything you need to know. 

How Build with Bolt works

The inspiration and momentum you get from creating with a community is lightning in a bottle. It’s why so many cool projects originate from Hackathons. Build with Bolt is our way of supporting the organizers who make it happen. 

Participants in the Build with Bolt program get:

• Bolt pro for everyone: You and all your event attendees get access to Bolt Pro on us.

• Free, far-reaching promo across our social channels: We’ll promote your event through X, LinkedIn, Discord, Instagram, and email. 

• Exclusive access to an organizer community: We’ll add you to a Discord server with other community organizers to swap ideas and share learnings. 

  
  

Interested? Here’s how to submit your event:

• You apply online: Fill out our application form. We’ll just need a description of your event, an estimate of the number of attendees, and some other basic info. It won’t take more than a few minutes to complete. 

• Our team reviews your application: We’re interested in supporting all kinds of events, from Hackathons and build-a-thons to demo days and webinars. That said, we sadly can’t support them all. We’ll carefully review each submission and get back to you within one week if it’s a fit. 

• We’ll email you if you’re selected: If your event is approved, you’ll see an email from us that includes the promo codes you’ll need to access free Bolt Pro, details on next steps, and more information on partnership benefits.

  
  

Who should apply

Short answer: If you’re hosting an event where people show up to build stuff with Bolt, you should apply. 

More specifically, we’re interested in supporting both company-led and community-led events. 

So, if your company wants to host an internal event to brainstorm together, build fast prototypes, test lofty ideas, or stoke creative energy, we’d love to help. 

Likewise, if you host a public hackathon in your city, a workshop for local vibecoding enthusiasts, or a group for industry professionals in your area, you’d be a great candidate for the program. 

We welcome both applicants who hope to hold an event for 10 and those who plan to host over 1,000.
